Hello, I’m Gabby Cornelio—author, illustrator, speaker, full-time mom, believer, and follower of Jesus Christ.

I’m Gabby Cornelio, an author—but above all, wife to my wonderful partner Jorge. Together, we have three amazing children: Abby, Mahonri, and Moroni.
Being their mom is my greatest joy. Their lives, challenges, and achievements have shaped me deeply and inspire me every day to grow, learn, and live with gratitude.

One of my children was diagnosed with Williams syndrome, along with multiple medical and developmental conditions. This experience transformed my life. It was in the most difficult moments that I discovered the love, strength, and purpose that come from God. Through my books, my art, and my social media, I share real stories of faith, resilience, and everyday miracles. I firmly believe that every trial can become a testimony, and that love, hope, and service hold incredible power to heal.

Gabby Cornelio – Author Rooted in Resilience

I moved to the United States when I was 21 years old. As part of that transition, I learned a new language and now speak both Spanish and English fluently. Additionally, due to my son Moroni’s condition, I’m learning American Sign Language (ASL)—something that excites me because it allows me to communicate with him and support him more effectively.

At home, we’ve faced numerous diagnoses—some of which we’ve overcome through great effort and faith, and others that continue to be part of our daily lives:

Learning difficulties: ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and slow long-term memory retrieval.
Medical conditions: scoliosis, macroglossia, low muscle tone, sleep apnea (both central and obstructive), speech and developmental delays, mouth breathing, heart defects, hearing loss, strabismus, sensory processing issues, duodenal atresia, aspiration, Williams syndrome, and Long QT syndrome.
Emotional challenges: childhood depression and anxiety.

My Passion for Health and Fitness

I love doing CrossFit and high-intensity workouts. Starting the day by moving my body not only strengthens my physical health but also helps me maintain a positive mindset and gives me the energy I need to care for my children and enjoy every moment with them. Being well allows me to give my best as a mother.

Thanks to that interest in health and wellness, I started my YouTube channel five years ago, where I share keto, gluten-free, and sugar-free recipes. I’m passionate about nutrition and strive to give my children a healthier diet, because I know that what we eat directly impacts their development, learning, and mental health.

Education and a Passion for Sharing

I’m passionate about learning. I hold an associate’s degree in Web Design and am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Applied Health at BYU-Idaho. Surrounded by doctors, therapists, diagnoses, and treatments, I felt a strong desire to understand the world of health in order to better support my family… and also other families facing similar challenges.

I love sharing my experience with other parents to offer encouragement and hope. Living with so many diagnoses can be confusing and overwhelming, but over time, I’ve learned how to find resources, therapies, and tools that have truly made a difference in my children’s lives.

I know I’m not alone—and you don’t have to be either.
