Why writing?

My journey as a writer began with the desire to share my experiences—especially my life as a mother raising a child with Williams syndrome. Through my books, I aim to spread hope, faith, and empathy, helping others see the beauty in every child, no matter their challenges.

The English version of this book will be available soon.

my personal book

My children's book

My Brother Doesn't Speak, But His Heart Does!

My Brother Doesn’t Speak, But His Heart Does! is a touching story that explores the unique bond between my two children, Maho and Momo, who face the challenges of communicating without words. Momo, at four years old, has a special condition that prevents him from speaking, which creates difficulties for our family. Yet, despite his inability to talk, Momo has found beautiful ways to express himself—through gestures, smiles, and loving hugs that speak louder than words.

The story follows Maho, his older brother, as he learns important lessons about patience, empathy, and the power of love. Maho doesn’t always understand what Momo wants or needs, but through their shared experiences, he discovers that sometimes, the heart can communicate far better than words ever could. Together, they show that the love between siblings is strong enough to overcome any obstacle.

This book is not only a celebration of our family’s journey of growth, but also a tribute to inclusion, diversity, and the perseverance needed to face life’s challenges. It invites readers of all ages to embrace the beauty of nonverbal communication and to understand that even though words may be missing, connections can still flourish through the love we share.

In addition to the heartwarming narrative, My Brother Doesn’t Speak, But His Heart Does! offers valuable activities and resources for parents, family members, and friends, providing practical tools to improve communication and strengthen family bonds. This is more than just a story; it’s an inspirational guide for families who are navigating the complexities of raising a child with special needs. Through its pages, readers will find hope, encouragement, and the reminder that love always finds a way to speak.

I am thrilled to share that the English version of this book will be available soon, and I can’t wait for you to experience this journey with Maho, Momo, and our family!

I’m also excited to share that I have another story coming soon!

This one is all about my daughter Abby and her brother Moroni, and I can’t wait for you to read it. And also, I have more stories to illustrate, so stay tuned for those too! I’m so glad you’re here, and I appreciate your support. Keep an eye out for what’s next!

I heard about your lovely book from the "Starry-Eyed Podcast." Your sharing of your story brought tears to my eyes, as our son G., sounds similar to Moroni.

This book is such a cute read for both parents and kids! Our kids can relate to the adventures of siblings, Maho and Momo. The educational resources for parents in the appendix is such a thoughtful touch. Def recommend!
